Fishlegs the Loyal

Entertainingly enough, this was just supposed to be a quick, stylized sketch. For that reason, all I had with me was a mechanical pencil without an eraser. And while I had so much fun drawing my favorite character from Cowell’s book series, I am not sure I want to attempt something like this with an eraser-less mechanical pencil ever again.

I’m so happy to post this drawing! It’s not perfect by any means, but for once in my life, I actually drew what was in my head! It’s so hard to get my art down as I mentally picture it, but this is exactly how I’ve always imagined Fishlegs in my head. This’ll probably be the first and last times that something like this happens, but I guess at least it happened once!

Maybe someday I can get around to more original, unique, expressive poses with Fishlegs. Because this kid totally has my heart. XD
